Tokay and Hospitable both answer guest messages with AI. Tokay is the complete front desk: six agents, the host in control, one flat price. Hospitable is a property management system built around a channel manager, where the AI suggests replies on most plans and sends on its own only on the top one. Here is how they compare.

The Tokay edge

Six agents, not one feature

Hospitable's AI is one feature inside a PMS, and on the plans most small hosts are on it suggests a reply for you to send. Tokay's six agents work the whole day. Pam answers guests and sends when you have switched the topic on. Ivo reviews prices every morning and you approve, with a two-day undo. Angela turns bank slip photos into expense records and flags a bill that has not arrived. Sam writes tomorrow's cleaning brief every night and rewrites it when a late checkout changes the plan. Andy drafts the review reply the morning it lands. Leo sends one morning summary of what needs you.

You stay in charge of every decision

Tokay's control is built into the start. Two weeks where every reply comes to you to approve, edit or deny with a tap, then auto-send switched on one topic at a time. Anything unusual, upset, sensitive or uncertain always comes to you first. If a fact is not on file, Pam asks instead of guessing. Hospitable's autonomous AI is a plan upgrade: Mogul at $99 for three listings plus $30 each after, with a second model checking each reply.

Guests answered in their language, not just translated

A Bangkok inbox gets Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Thai in the same week. Pam answers in the guest's own language, more than ten of them, on Airbnb, Booking.com or Vrbo where the guest already wrote. Cleaners and contractors are reached on LINE.

One price with nothing variable

Tokay is one plan with the whole team and AI sending included: $29 per listing monthly, $24 yearly, $24 / $20 from 10 listings, $19 / $16 from 25, no per-message fees, no share of bookings. On Hospitable, AI that sends starts at $99 for three listings, so a host with five listings pays $159 at US list for a PMS plus AI, with no pricing review, no accounting and no review replies. In Thailand the Mogul plan is geo-priced in baht at roughly half the US list.

No PMS, no setup project

Tokay connects to your listings in about ten minutes, nothing to install, and runs without a PMS. Most hosts under 25 listings on Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo never need calendar sync beyond what the platforms already provide.

Where Hospitable stops

Hospitable is a channel manager with scheduled messages and an AI feature on top. With it, the host still does by hand:

  • Sending: on Essentials, Host and Professional the AI suggests and you press send. Tokay sends on its own, topic by topic, after two supervised weeks.
  • Pricing: no morning review, no recommendations, no undo. Tokay's Ivo does this daily and you approve.
  • Expenses and bills: no slip photos to records, no late bill alert. Tokay's Angela does both.
  • Cleaning: task tools, but no nightly brief rewritten when plans change. Tokay's Sam does that and reaches cleaners on LINE.
  • Reviews: no drafted replies. Tokay's Andy drafts each one the morning it lands.

Pricing side by side

Prices as of October 2026, per month, at US list. Hospitable column shows the plan where AI sends on its own.

Listings Tokay (monthly / yearly) Hospitable Mogul
1 $29 / $24 $99 (3 included)
10 $240 / $200 ($24 / $20 per listing) $99 + 7 x $30 = $309
25 $475 / $400 ($19 / $16 per listing) $99 + 22 x $30 = $759

Tokay's launch price is kept for life if you join before 31 March 2027, with a full refund within 30 days. Tokay prices are at /#pricing.

How you start

  1. Connect your Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo listings. About ten minutes, nothing to install.
  2. One short call to tell Tokay your rules in plain sentences: wifi, check-in, house rules, price floors.
  3. Two supervised weeks where every reply comes to you first. Then switch on what Tokay may send on its own, one topic at a time.

Questions hosts ask

Can I use Tokay with Hospitable? Tokay connects to Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo directly; it does not plug into Hospitable. Hosts who keep a PMS for calendars switch off its templates that overlap with guest replies, and Tokay takes the front desk and the back office from there.

Does Hospitable's AI send replies on its own? As of October 2026, only on the Mogul plan, at $99 for three listings plus $30 each after, with a second model checking each reply. On Essentials, Host and Professional the AI suggests and the host sends. Tokay sends on its own from $29 per listing, after two supervised weeks and one topic at a time.

Does Tokay connect to Agoda? Tokay answers Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo guests. Hosts in Thailand often list on Agoda too, and those guests are answered the way the host answers them today. For the three platforms Tokay connects, every guest is answered around the clock in their own language, with prices, expenses, cleaning and reviews handled by the same team.
